DVD Purchases:
Many of the foreign DVDs sold on this site are in PAL, which many home theater DVDs will not play.
Understanding PAL and NTSC versions:
PAL and NTSC are two different video image rendering formats.
Phase Alternating Line (PAL): 625 Lines
National Television System Committee (NTSC): 525 Lines and the standard used for US televisions and DVD players.
Please ensure that you have one of the following methods available for viewing the PAL version DVDs.
Playing PAL version Overland Video DVDs on your computer:
Nearly all modern computers support PAL and NTSC format DVDs, which means that all the DVDs from this site can be played on a laptop or desktop with a DVD drive. All DVD's are tested on our 24" iMAC Apple, HP Laptop and Compaq Desktop to ensure compatibility.

Book Returns:
At Overland Video, we make every effort to provide you with the highest quality products and service, but there can be times when the item purchased does not meet expectations. Books and maps can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase if returned in as new condition. There are no returns on books or maps that are sold as used.
